Information and Advice

Customers: Those wishing to buy clothing from the website.

Note to customers when trying on purchases:

Please do not cut off tags before trying items on.    Please keep items away from animal/pet hair.

Please do not try on items if wearing perfume, in a smoky environment, have just applied body lotion, deodorant, tanning or cosmetics that may stain or affect clothing

Payment must be received before items will be sent out.

Clients: Those wishing to have their clothing sold on the website.

Items will only be accepted if they are in a wearable condition, see Product Details below.

A dated receipt will be given showing item details, condition etc.

Clothing will be photographed and displayed on the website for up to one month.

Clients will receive 50% of the sale price.

Payment to clients will be made on the first and third Mondays of each month. Either into the client’s PayPal account, or personal account by arrangement.

If items are unsold the client will be contacted by email or telephone. The item can be discounted in the bargain basement, given to charity or returned to the client at their own expense.

Product Details

The condition of garments are described using the following terms:

Excellent: Near perfect, unworn with original tags, no visible imperfections or discolourations.

Very good: May show some minor wear but nothing too noticeable eg. Re-sewn hem, minor discolouration on inside lining, light wear on corner or interior of handbags.

Good: Some visible wear, fabric softness as a result of washing, lining may be faded. Faint stains in discrete area, scratches on leather.

All prices quoted are in pound sterling £

Prices include Vat at the current UK rate

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale at any time.

PayPal

Terms and conditions for PayPal apply. PayPal keeps business and customer information securely encrypted and works behind the scenes to protect from fraud.

Items will not be sent out until we have been notified that payment has been received.

Tracing Parcels & Damage

If products fail to arrive please contact us for details of tracking and tracing procedure. If we consider that the order has been lost in transit we shall at our discretion refund the order.

In the event that your goods are damaged in transit please contact us within 48 hrs of receipt. If you fail to do this, or goods have been signed for as received in good condition, we will not be able to offer a refund.

Returns

Many of our items are pre worn. Please bear this in mind when making your purchase as these items are not flawless and may have slight blemishes. We make every effort to point these out in item descriptions.

If the item does not reach you in the condition you expected from the description please contact us within 48 hrs to inform us fully of the situation. If you require a refund you must return the item to us within 7 days. After 7 days we will only issue a credit note. We do not refund the cost of post and packaging for returned items.

Items must be returned in a saleable condition with the original packaging:

All original tags must still be attached

Items must be unworn and in the same condition they were received

If you wish to return an item please store it away from cigarette smoke or cooking odours and animal hair

Underwear or swimwear cannot be returned

Please quote your original order reference

Credit notes are valid for one year from date of issue and are issued in accordance with your legal rights, where goods are not as described or of satisfactory quality.

If you create an account you are responsible for keeping the account password confidential and restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised use of your account.

All content on this website such as images, text and graphics belong to allara and are protected by UK and international copyright laws. Content may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold or exploited for any commercial purpose.

We reserve the right to make changes to the web site including prices, products, terms & conditions without any notice being given.
